Markets itself as a cafe, and bought a slightly overpriced (but not too overly priced) iced cappuccino there to sip while working on something with my laptop. Whatever, it's the loiter premium I figured. Chose the only table that was near a power outlet to charge, and kept getting pestered about it because it was a four person table by the staff, which would have been reasonable and understandable if it were busy - except it wasn't, and there were plenty of empty tables around, four person ones included. Overall, it was unnecessary, and with all the other options around South Bank that I know from experience cater better, I wished I had just avoided this place. Food also seemed overprice, from observation - the same price range as the rest of South Bank, but with much less novelty and far more generic. Only time I would come back is if every other place in South Bank was full. I wouldn't say the place was awful, but when someone says "Let's eat in South Bank!" Olio is not the place that has anyone's first vote, and rightfully so

Paid $8 for a salmon sandwich that had bread so hard and chewy it was left behind in favour of the barely-there filling. May even have been stale. Ordered an earl grey but ended up with a green tea. Staff was so brusque to the point of rudeness.
