    Always seems to have blocked off areas due to endless upgrades / never seems to be complete.

    This a lovely place to enjoy with friends, family or by yourself. There are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, gifts shops and snacks to enjoy. There are playgrounds for all-ages kids and the swimming pools are fantastic to enjoy the heat summer.

    Nice cool shady walk along the Arbore walkway (Sculptured Bougainvillea) with sand beaches to swim at when the heat & humidity of Sub Tropical Brisbane. Plus kids of all ages will enjoy this, so there's that. The big Brisbane sign at 7 ft each letter (whatever, didn't measure it) is a must for creative travel pics etc.

    South bank has everything you want from faboulas food options to perfect places to sit and listen to music. With a variety of shopping stores and markets it's an amazing place for the family with it's own beach and swimming areas. Perfect day out or night on the town.

    South Bank Parklands are a great place to have fun. There is a great view of the Brisbane River and the City cat stops. Beautiful gardens and kids park. There is also a pool and an artificial beach to enjoy in a typical Brisbane summer day. Live music In South Bank Parklands there are many different things to do, eat delicious food, enjoy the live music, have a few beers on the bars, buy souvenirs, among other great activities. Markets on Sundays as well to do some shopping and contribute with the young designers. Absolutely recommended
