  parked after 5pm on a tuesday for the $5 deal when validated at a restaurant. the paystation wouldn't accept my card payment for the $5, so i cancelled and tried again. it then rejected the validation barcode saying it had already been used, and wanted to charge me $19. i walked down to the booth to see if an attendant was available to assist - booth was empty. With no phone line anywhere i tried the ticket again - it had gone up to $22 in the time it took to sort out the issue on my own. I ended up paying the $22 to get out of the carpark, but not before trying to contact via the eatsouthbank website to no avail. Shitshow from start to finish.

  Convenient for the parklands but they don't post their rates outside. So you go in and get tricked into paying heaps in parking.

  Not the best value car park in South Bank but then again you haven't many choices. Pro tip book online.

  Really disappointed with the price of parking for the International Women's Day Fun Run. Last year parking was $2, this year $16 ludicrous. You would think with an event supporting such a good cause consideration would be given and discount parking offered. Even a flat rate of $5 would have been more appropriate.
