  I had my baby at Mater mothers and I was really surprised for the good service, the midwives were amazing and I had a great experience. The labour room was a place just for myself and I had a midwife taking care of just me! I haven't seen that in other countries. I'm so happy for delivering there.

  Only suggestion I can give is when ordering food ensure to order all the condiments, you have to ask for salt and pepper and even though you order toast you still have to ask for butter or you get nothing. After we figured this out we really enjoyed all the meals.

  The staff and hospital are both wonderful. My wife and new born daughter had the perfect experience.

  Just called them for changing my first appointment without noticing me... I've already booked appointment with my doctor on the day! Called them, their staff sounds so rude!! Don't even feel sorry for changing people's appointment without checking!!! And I've explained that I've already booked appointment with my doctor and will try my best to be their on time, might be a little bit late, she said that I have to be their ON TIME, (the way she speaks just sound RUDE!!!! ) otherwise they will remove me from their list....!! Feeling so bad and helpless about their service already! Make me so anxious already! T_T

  Went public and it is the same as private you get the same birthing sweet, mid wife's and doctors.. only difference is the rooms. You most likely will share.

  A fantastic experience - twice Mater mothers public had fantastic staff. You can tell it's more than just a job for them. We can't be thankful enough ! What a great system we have.
