  The room was surprisingly quiet considering the overpass right next door but all noises from the hall were amplified and the curtains didn't close properly, letting in the street lights. The entrance to the hotel is in an alleyway (in case you intend to go out at night, be warned).

  One of the beds was right up against the ensuite and sure can hear everything that goes on in there, there was no bath, the toilet requires multiple flushes for anything and they one gave us one roll per day (again for three people).

  The bathroom needs a complete renovation - outdated, even smaller than one could believe, can hardly move in shower, have to step INTO the shower (how you ask? They found a way!) I feel like I'm going to hit my head on the roof and I'm 5'4. Keep in mind, "3 adults". Our ensuite at home is bigger than this "main" bathroom for 3 adults.

  Worth, not even half the price. For another $100 you could stay at a (true) 5 Star Hotel. I have been to the slums of Vietnam and have found cleaner, cheaper and more convenient hotels. The price is not justified whatsoever but it's proximity to the river and art centres may be their excuse.

  I used to love staying here as it was in a convenient location and affordable however now the staff are rude and dismissive and the prices have flown through the roof! Shame as I think the friendliness of the old staff were lovely and the unpretentious rooms were realistically priced.

  There are cheaper hotels in Brisbane with much better quality rooms available. I honestly couldn't believe this place is four star accredited, I guess word of mouth is somehow a better judge of standard these days.

  I had breakfast in the dining room and the waitress ignored us for 20 minutes before serving us - we were in a hurry to go to a meeting so was not impressed at all. The hot breakfast presented well but was cold and the coffee was only half full!

  Booked a room for initially 3 adults. After one of the adults couldn't come, we thought we'd have ample room - think again. You have to take baby steps to get around this room and it is exactly 4 by 7 metres.

  Sad when you find a great place and are a repeat customer only to be disappointed each time you come back. They tell you to book direct to get a better price but it is equal to, and oftentimes, more expensive then the online advertised prices... We are now in search of a new regular Brisbane hotel and stopped recommending this place to my friends.

  Now onto specifics; the three of us stayed in one room with no kitchenette, not even a toaster or plates. If you want water, you'll have to drink the bathroom tap water or buy some from the mini-fridge under the T.V. Only tea and coffee necessities are offered.
